The Organisation for Growth of Quality in Education has presented today's final report for this year, regarding the academic integrity of the University of Pristina. It told them that 45 per cent of the professors in the UPI have zero cofficient, having no scientific work published in scientific journals.

And the faculty with the least work for the professor turned out to be the Faculty of Philology with 0.092 works for the professor.

The author of this report, Adea Kondirolli, who made a brief presentation of the findings, said the Faculty of FSHMF led to the number of scientific works.

As for the professors' titles, Kondiroll said there are even legislates who have no titles at all.

This year we have 45 percent of professors with zero cofficiency. They don't have any work on magazines published on databases, even level three, 0.55. So, 208 professors from 465 don't have any index work on any scientific database... The Faculty of Agriculture has 184 works in the scientific index magazine in databases, and works in suspicious magazines are 34. The professor's head-to-head painting has 5.5, which is the faculty with the most work in the UPI. The first is FSHMN and the second medicine. Meanwhile, the Faculty of Agriculture has 10 legalists, people bearing materials that are not entitled Professor”, she explained.

She also spoke of justifying titles, with Cçrast said the Faculty of Fisik Education has the lowest excuse at all.

Rjon Djindovci from this organisation said they are committed that through research and public criticism, they aim for the welfare of the whole society.

If nothing else, that's our motive as an organization, and that should be our social motive... We have to work to create the throne of well-being for our society, and after we've committed ourselves too much to the risks to be firmly attached to our high moral and ethical values as a society, then we'll be able to enjoy prosperity as long as the time is”, Djindov said.

Attending the event was Dr. Taulant Muka, the director of a research group at the University of Bern, Switzerland, who has introduced his findings from research on the quality of education in Albania.

He said it is a little difficult to produce statistics in Kosovo, until he added that Albania holds the lowest number of publications compared to other countries in the region.

The report published today by ORCA reveals that 1735 scientific works have been identified in UPP this year until 1320 works were held in 2017. While the average paper production is 3.7 works for university professors. On the other hand, according to the report in question, the faculty with the least work for the professor is the Faculty of Philology with 0.092 work for the professor.

All in the end, ORCA representatives announced that from March next year, they will also engage in the research of other public universities at the University of Kosovo. /
