This is the second time this instruction has been under way since 2009, when it has also entered into force, since it has never found implementation.
The small number of inspectors questions the implementation of this instruction, say the organisation “Lettés do it Kosova”.
But Luan Hasanaj, however, hopes that there will be some results this time, as, according to him, the preservation of cleared spaces remains his challenge.
Hasanaj said that since 15 September, when the country's cleanup action has begun, 150 illegal warehouses have been removed.
During the signing of this instruction, Environment and Spatial Planning Minister Fatmir Matosi has said the fines are aimed at preventing waste from being thrown out of containers, as well as protecting public and private surfaces.
