“Dolari must be based on domestic strength, we are working very well to make our country economically strong and eventually I want a strong $1”, the Trump asked by the CNBC channel at the World Economic Forum in Davos (Switzerland) stressed.
He also added that his finance minister's statements the day before on US benefits from a weak dollar, which caused a decline in the green currency, “had been taken out of context”.
