Serbian police seek involvement in Ivanovic assassination probe

Serbia has requested from EULEX the inclusion of its state bodies in investigations concerning the murder of Oliver Ivanovic.

The news has been disclosed by Serbia's Ministry of Internal Affairs, under which Police Director Vladimir Rebiq has discussed the issue with representatives of the European Mission in Kosovo.

Rabic during the meeting has met that Serbian police immediately make all information available concerning the murder of the head of the Freedom Civil Initiative, democracy, justice.

Serbia's Ministry of Internal Affairs expects the case to be investigated at the highest professional level, as otherwise investigations would be difficult, which could lead to serious consequences.
