Saudi Arabia's public prosecutor, Saud al-Muajab, has said he will seek extradition for several persons suspected of corruption living abroad.
His statement comes under a host of measures, in which several public figures are included, broadcast Reuters.
They're gathering for evidence to file charges and to ask foreign governments to turn them into kingdoms, has declared al-Muajab, Arrayol magazine during an interview.
It has not been made clear how many people can be asked or where they are.
Saudi security forces have taken some measures for many political and elite members, at the order of the heir to the throne, the prince, Mohammed bin Salman.
These measures have been described as fighting corruption.
Saudi officials have said they are negotiating with the detainees, but Arrayol has said those who end up in court will be able to engage lawyers to protect themselves during the investigation.
