This is the official police version of Ivanovic's murder.

Police announce that today around 8 and 10 minutes, on “Street. Sujeska” in northern Mitrovica, a shooting gun incident has been recorded, with individuals so far unknown being shot in the direction of Oliver Ivanovic, who was initially wounded near his work office.

The victim has been sent to the hospital centre in northern Mitrovica for reanimation, while health care doctors have ascertained his death.

Police units have been on the scene as the site's survey is under way. Material evidence has been found at the scene, which will be used in the further investigative procedure.

Also, around 09:15m, on “Vojvode Putnika” north of Mitrovica, a private brand car “Opel Astra” has been located, without registration plates that were previously set on fire, while police suspect it may be linked to the murder case.

All the random circumstances and actions taken by the police have been informed by the State Prosecutor, the Constitutional Prosecutor in Mitrovica, who has appeared at the scene.

Kosovo police remain committed to dawning as soon as possible and bringing suspected persons to justice bodies. /Kosovo pres/
