On this occasion, Minister Pacolli has announced Jagland's recent political developments in the country and presented the goal of continuing our country's membership in international organisations, including and praised both the particular interest of full membership in the Council of Europe.
We talked about issues of common interest, and in parallel with that I announced our purpose, that we should join this important Organisation for Human Rights and steps, which we, like Kosovo and the foreign minister, have undertaken to achieve that goal. I've said in my previous statements that considering the respective procedures, we expect to become the 48th member of this organization by 2020”, Pacolli said.
Under the visit to Strasbourg, Pacolli has also met with ambassadors of permanent representations from the friendly and partner states of Kosovo, where he had secured support for that purpose.
