Minister dismisss STAT members at UP's Board

Education Minister Shyqi Bytyqi told KALLXO.com he has dismissed the four members of this ministry at the University of Pristina Board.

“Yes, only members of the UP's Board, named by August, are slipping, while other university-made members place them”, said Minister Shyqi Bytyqi.

The Ministry of Education had named its members on the UP's Board in February 2016.

Members of this board by August were then appointed Ismet Salihu, Alajdin Abazi, Sigurd Hollinger and Ahmet Latifi.

Even the chairman of the University of Pristina Steering Board is appointed by August, so he too has been fired.

The chairman of the UP's Steering Board so far was Ismet Salihu.

Finally, Minister Shyqi had not agreed to lower the scholarship value for UP students from 600 to 500 euros, while yesterday the University Steering Council decided to return the stock exchanges to the value of 600 euros, as it was last year.

Board Leader The UPI, in addition to the four members appointed by August, has five members appointed by the university.
