“No one wanted to be measured by Albin”

The Vetevendosje movement has held the election for party chairman, where Albin Kurti has received the near 100 per cent trust in votes from party membership. In this party election, there was no one against the candidate to be at the helm of Vetevendosje's party. Xhelal Svechla from the Vetevendosje Movement estimated that the VV elections were very well organised and have moved on as planned.
“Kurti gained absolute trust. We weren't interested in competitions just as decorations. There has been a race for the president of Kosovo. We were interested in being organised for free elections”, Svechla said in RTK.
According to Svechla, there was no interest in measuring Kurt.
We've had disagreements for over a year. We've wanted to solve internal problems”, Svechla stressed.
According to him, both those who resign are still part of the Vetevendosje Movement. He suggested Glauk Konjufca and Shpend Ahmeti are sent to negotiate with the dissatisfied who have resigned.
For the lynching language used by activists to resign, Xhelal Svechla from the Vetevendosje Movement said there have been excesses.
I don't think there's been a lynching campaign against anyone, but there's been despair over some VV figures. Kurt has not led these reckless claims. It's a matter of VV structures, to talk about dissatisfaction, about these expressions of these activists”, he said.
As for the possibility of dialogue and the unification of VV, Jelal Svechla from the Vetevendosje Movement said it is possible to achieve.
“Vetevendosje Movement has not changed, is where it was before these dyvergence” appeared.
