Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Limaj, commenting on recent developments about the Special Court, has said the Social Democrat Initiative is to impose justice and do not violate the state's interest in personal interests.
Limaj in RTK has said they are for investigating any alleged war crime, but not being given a court appointment, broadcasting Indexline.
Our 2015 stand has been clear, but not much has been heard. Before this came to Parliament, we've been asked to show how this process will take place, as it happens, with political and judicial articulation. The initiative knew nothing, it was this closed process, until it came to parliament we knew nothing. With no access, someone else prepared this job. We've tried to give our stand, we can't say no to justice, I'm facing”, Limaj said.
According to him, the Social Democrat Initiative is for the trial or investigating alleged war crimes in our country, but not appointment.
Be careful how to label, not to build a human name process, but evidence to send us to people, this has been our stay in 2015, it's dangerous but a lot more promising is the power of the Special. We have witnessed so far that we cannot put personal interest ahead of the country, affecting the interest of the State for any individual, and we have spoken about it in action. Even at The Hague I have said, the fate of Kosovo is greater than the fate of individuals”, Limaj has said.
