New Law on Traffic Without Effect, Only in January 7 Dead

Kosovo police, even before January 1st, have been implementing the Law on Road Traffic, which was enacted in August 2016, already from January 2018, the implementation of the Law on Anti-Wage, which has been sponsored by the Ministry of Justice, which the Kosovo Police have granted additional competencies in the pronunciation of fines at the scene.
Commission for Replacing in Kosovo Police, Lieutenant Colonel Haxhi Krasniqi, told Radio Kosovo that with the law's entry into force, police have intensified their work in traffic.

Meanwhile, the Commission for Determination has accepted 46 complaints. Krasniqi indicated that 214 citizens have been barred from driving. According to him, despite increasing measures in road traffic, 7 people have lost their lives from January 1st to now.
Kosovo police appeal to drivers of vehicles to respect the rules provided by law, because to those who do not, there will be zero tolerance.
