Montenegro's prime minister's adviser and the head of the Government's office for public relations, Srdjan Kusovac, has shown the goal of visiting Montenegrin Prime Minister Dusko Markovic in Kosovo.

Asked whether Prime Minister Markovik's visit concerns demarcation and finding a compromise regarding the demarcation agreement between the two states, Kusovac has declined to comment, saying it is a regular visit.

The “is meant for a regular and important bilateral visit, as we are dealing with two neighbouring countries and friends”, said Kusovac.

The visit of Montenegrin prime minister takes place at a time when the Kosovo Assembly is expected to be declared finally about the state border agreement between Kosovo and Montenegro, which was signed in 2015.

The Montenegro Assembly has ratified this agreement, but not that of Kosovo.

During his visit to Kosovo, Montenegrin Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, President Hashim Thaci and Prime Minister Kadri Wessel will hold meetings.

Meetings with the Montenegrin prime minister are also expected to be discussed in planning to hold a joint meeting between the governments of Kosovo and Montenegro.
