Former Judge Majlinda Andrea's sexist marriage mate released from prison

Two convicts of 50,000 euros in bribery for a land in Saranda have been released from prison. Yusuf Andre and Ilia Chabir left prison cells after completing their sentence.

Andrew was sentenced to one year and six months in prison by the Court. He claimed to be innocent, but escaped for several months. According to the prosecution's investigation, Odysse Andre was serving as mediator between the prosecution party and his wife, Judge Andrea.

The Attorney General said at the time that the Supreme Court ruled on the suspension of Judge Majlinda Andre, who through her husband allegedly received a total of 50 thousand euros to influence the verdict, this judge was a member of the court. Ilia Chabari from Saranda, in the quality of the representative of a former-owner family, sought recognition of a land area about 40 hectares, in the Butrint area and the amount of money was granted for the case. The sum was paid on July 10, 2016, the day before the Supreme Court's decision. /papsy
