The reported attacks were launched Tuesday morning, reportedly according to the Syrian statement, broadcast on state television. The alleged attacks were aimed at Syrian military sites located in the al-Qutaifa area near Damascus.
The statement said Israeli planes attacked targets in Syria from Lebanon's airspace, while the missiles were launched from Golan's occupied heights, reports “RT” Transmission Periscope.
Israel will not immediately comment on the report, though there is a registry when it hit targets within Syria, which, according to it, are necessary to prevent the transfer of advanced weapons to the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah.
The Syrian declaration said Israel's attack aimed at supporting terrorist forces, to strengthen them following Syrian military advances. /Periscopi/
