Borman said about The DPA has found the 80m-long wall in Pankov Parallage a few years ago, and has been aware of the city's authorities for fear that vandals could destroy it, the AP broadcasts.
The Berlin Wall divided the city into two parts - east and west - and was built in 1961 to collapse in 1990.
