Initiated petition for investigation of persons working at Switzerland Embassy in Kosovo

The ranks before the Swiss Embassy in Pristina are never exhausted. The procedures for application and obtaining visa from this embassy are highly bureaucratic. And seeing this situation, someone has initiated a petition demanding that authorities and consular practices be investigated at this embassy, writes Periscope.

The reason for this petition, reportedly on the page on which it was published, is the discriminating approach to Kosovo citizens who apply for Austrian or Swiss visas in this embassy, and to ensure that corruption is not defined by visa taking.

“We ask the authorities in Bern to investigate employees and practices that apply to the Kosovo Embassy, to ensure that corruption does not specify the visa approval process and to make sure that each applicant is treated fairly according to the criteria published”, reports the petition published in sturgange.org by the initiative of this petition, Luljet Fan-Long, Periskopi.

Full petition scripture:

Research the authorities and consular practices of the Swiss Embassy in Kosovo!

As the facts show, and as many of us are witnesses, there are systematic discrimination practices against Kosovo citizens who apply for visas as visitors to Austria or Switzerland through the Swiss Embassy in Kosovo. This includes unwarranted rejections that often result both in financial and emotional burdens for victims.

We ask the authorities in Bern to investigate employees and practices applied at the Kosovo Embassy to ensure that corruption does not determine the visa approval process and make sure that any applicants are treated fairly according to the published criteria. /Periscopi/
