Alternative MP Ilir Deda estimates that those who talk about renegotiation of the demarcation agreement with Montenegro are not based on actual reality. It says that the only solution is reaching a consensus that the former government is not asking for either current.
“There's a reregulation of the deal. That's a scenario that doesn't belong to the reality that we live in. Now we make decisions that make people's lives difficult because of non-reality, I'm very sorry”, Deda told Dukaagjini television.
Yes, how should it be done according to the Deda?
After the end of Montenegro's prime minister's visit, Kosovo's prime minister should call political parties at a meeting where he would discuss how to move forward to build consensus”, he stressed.
But is consensus difficult in such a situation?
The consensus is always possible if there is will to be achieved. I think Prime Minister Haradinaj has attempted to reach consensus, but he is not doing so, which is disappointing”, Deda said.
“If the previous government has not reached consensus and we have remained blocked then logic says this present was supposed to require it”, Deda says.
Today, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj said at the meeting with Montenegrin counterpart Dusko Markovic will not be discussed for demarcation.
The subject is in Parliament, and there is no room for negotiating between the prime ministers”, Haradinaj has said.
Montenegro's prime minister, Markovic, will visit Kosovo on 6 February.
