Haxhiu: The judge with the tail taken with the door punished us, this will be our act.

At a media conference to talk about prison sentences handed down by the Pristina Constitutional Court, convicted deputies Albulen Haxhiu and Donika Kadai-Bujupi have spoken.

Haxhiu said MPs would file a complaint against this sentence and the case would go to the Court of Appeals, Periscopi writes.

“We have 15 days to file complaints and we will send it to the Appeal Court”, she said.

Haxhiu said that this sentence proved that in Kosovo it was not condemned by criminals and corrupts, but by activists and MPs who protected the territory.

Even today, these corrupt criminals in Kosovo are not condemned. Those rich at the expense of poor citizens. Today, unfortunately, this captured justice system is condemning the Aquivisites and MPs who protected the territory. None of the sessions witnessed that tear gas is a weapon. We have a decision by the Court of Appeals that a Serbian citizen has been sentenced to 450 euros for dropping tear gas, even though our move was political”, Haxhi said.

Haxhiu said Judge Becir Kaluldra has the tail taken by the door, adding that his goal was to criminalise protests against demarcation and association.
