Haradinaj gives good news to health workers

Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has met today with a delegation from the Kosovo International Health Federation (FSSHK), led by Blerim Syla, who has talked to the situation in Kosovo health and steps taken to improve it.

Prime Minister Haradinaj, of FSSHK representatives, was informed of the health sector's achievements, but also of the challenges facing this sector.
Union representatives informed the prime minister of the health workers' concerns, one of these concerns was the classification of doctors' salaries.
Prime Minister Haradinaj pledged in the Government's commitment to establishing the legal basis for this classification to apply to the health sector as soon as possible, as are the countries of the region already regulated.
The resolution of the wage problem for health workers is their classification, through the law. The government will be committed to proceeding with this law as soon as possible. Categorisation also means rising wages for doctors”, Prime Minister Haradinaj said.
Health trade unions agreed that, along with experts from the Ministry of Public Administration, Health and Finance Ministry, finalise work on the Law of Pays so that their demands can be implemented as soon as possible.
