“Border Police services, as well as crime investigation specialists in the Police-Rina Commission, have made the ban of Kosovo citizens declared in search by Kosovo Police, namely: A.T., 31, born and inhabited in Gjakova. The aforementioned citizen had returned to the deposit category by Swiss police authorities with the motive that he had passed the residence deadline”, said the police report, broadcast the Indexline.
This citizen obtained as ID an Albanian biometric passport on behalf of another citizen from Albania, but with his photo, the passport he had made in Albania in 2011, against the amount of 2,000 euros.
“During the interview procedures was not convincing about the passport generals, and after detailed verifications it resulted that this citizen was from Kosovo and not Albania. After verifying the exact generals, it resulted that this citizen was a person declared in a search by the Kosovo Police after the Gjakova Court had sentenced him in absentia to 4 years and 6 months in prison for criminal work “due to violence””, police reported.
Albania's police now charge Kosovo also for criminal work “falsification of seals, stamps and forms”, provided by Article 190 of the Penal Code.
Citizens A.Th. were transferred to the Border Cross Point in Morina to Kosovo authorities for further actions.
