Meanwhile, the chief of the EU Office in Kosovo, Nataliya Apostolova, said the European Union is the country's biggest donor and partner, on its way to rule of law.
Kosovo Customs Director Bahri Berisha said the projection of the institution he heads is that in 2018, there should be inflow of 1.175 billion euros, while 65 percent of all taxes in Kosovo are collected by Dogana. Among the challenges of functioning of this institution was cited in the creation of a joint national intelligence unit and the appointment of separate prosecutors and judges for Customs cases.
These comments were made today at the 4th summit for rule of law, where the work of Kosovo Customs was focused, organised by the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo.
