The Court of Appeals will be added to ten judges

The Kosovo Appeals Court has received the announcement that the Judiciary Council has responded positively to President Hasan Shala's request for adding the number of judges to the institution.

As reported by a media communiqué, the KDR has decided to announce a ten-judge contest.

“Welcoming this decision, the Court of Appeals, hopes that the procedures for recruiting them will be carried out as soon as possible, as the need for them is enormous”, the communique says.

The second - degree Court of Appeals is said to have been constantly in charge of an enormous number of subjects, with over 24 thousand of which were inherited from the previous years in 2017 alone. If we divide that number with that number of judges, which is 35, it's what each of them has had in their drawers about 700 subjects.
