Child IDs issued this year

Kosovo's Civil Recording Agency will start this year with the release of children's IDs, as well as international driver permits.

The director of this agency, Bekim Hoxha, stressed that there will be a lot of safety in children with this step.

We have an open procedure to change the law. We've opened procedure in this regard. Equipment of children with IDs is innovation in Kosovo. With this document we will enable citizens to increase the safety of children on the streets, in schools, in health institutions that through identification there can be access to different systems”, he told RTV21.

Hoxha said international driver permits will be ready this year.
