Judah speaks of the murder of British journalist Oliver Ivanoviqi Tim Judah, who is connoisseur of developments in the Balkans, has said that citizens living in northern Mitrovica believe the culprits in the assassination of Serbian leader Oliver Ivanovic are in northern Kosovo.
“What I found out talking to my friends and contacts is that the people in North Mitrovica believe the traces of the guilty (of Oliver Ivanovic's murder) lead north, not south-of-the- South”, Judeh wrote on Twitter Tuesday. He has further said that in Serbia Ivanovic's murder is compared to the murder of journalist Slavko Curuvija in 1999.
<x)> In Belgrade, comparisons are being made with 1999 killing of (journary) Slavko Curuvija likely from Serbian security services.
Of course, there is still no evidence”, Jude wrote. Journalist Slavko Curuvija has been killed on April 11, 1999. The Serbian Secret Service had acknowledged that for a long time it had been forwarded to journalist Curuvija because of his Kosovo-related writings, Kalxo reports. Contrary to the leader of the Serbian Civic Initiative, Oliver Ivanovic, was killed yesterday at the entrance of his party's object in northern Mitrovica. Shortly after the attack he was taken to the hospital centre, but after a few minutes the doctors have ascertained his death.
