Serbian Justice Minister Nela Kuburevic, in an interview for the newspaper “Blic” on January 2nd 2018, has also spoken of the extradition of Albanian Ballist Morina, who is held in Croatia.
Kuberevic said that for now there is no information whether or not her Croatian counterpart will make a final decision on the extradition of Ismal Morina, or whether Croatia will give or not, consent to extradition.
But, noting that there is no deadline on which the justice minister should act after a decision of firm form in terms of extradition, Kuberevic said she believes that in any case this should happen within a year since the person's detention.
Morina has been in custody in Dubrovnik since June 2017, when she was arrested following a Serbian arrest warrant because of an investigation conducted in Belgrade over the Serbia-Albania match in November 2014; Morina caused an incident with the flag of Greater Albania, which waved her with fear over the stadium during the match; he is accused of committing a criminal offence linked to racial, religious and national hatred.
