Analyst: Joint VV operation is impossible

After major explanations within the Vetevendosje Movement, which have been manifested with the resignation of a certain number of figures that have held positions within this political party, but also hold the seats of Kosovo's Parliament deputies, there are many real indicators that speak that this party will be divided, recognises the connoissers of political developments in Kosovo.

Days earlier, the Headship of the Vetevendosje Movement had made a decision on a joint meeting with the parliamentary group of this party, part of which are those who have resigned from party positions. But such a meeting has not yet occurred.

Imer Mushkolaj, political affairs analyst, speaking of Radio Free Europe, estimates that Vetevendosje Movement's efforts to organise joint meetings of leadership and parliamentary group or other party forums are attempts to create the impression that these in Vetevendosje are confrontations and differences. But, as he says, it's already about deep divisions in Vetevendosje Movement.

Such concerns, I don't believe, will succeed, precisely because of these divisions and differences that have actually led to party division. We can't only talk about differences within Vetevendosje now, despite senior party officials trying to present as such, but now we're talking about the actual division of Vetevendosje. I believe that separation will go further by deepening. So I think we can't even talk about the hope that the Vetevendosje Movement can have that everything can improve and go back to where it was”, Mushkolaj said.

Similar thoughts are shared by other political analyst Artan Muhhajari. He tells Radio Free Europe that recent events in the Vetevendosje Movement have created a deep gap between two, as he calls factions within this party.

It is clear that the Vetevendosje Movement has two taxes, two factions that have against and against Albin Kurti, and the divide is too large. The breach is deep, so it's very unlikely that these two jars will co-exist within the umbrella of the Vetvendosje” Movement, Mujadir has been expressed.

But are there signals that the two factions within the Vetevendosje Movement, as political issues analysts call them, can function this party to preserve the whole of this political subject?

Analyst Mushkolaj, suggests that after the charges and counter-accuss between the acting leaders of the Vetevendosje Movement, the joint functioning of the two factions is in principle impossible.

This operation, let's call it a fraction, within the Vetevendosje Movement, can only last for a few days. I expect that with the election of Kurti chairman of the Vetevendosje Movement, then the seal will be given and the full division of the Movement and all those who resign will focus on creating a new political subject. In fact, the political climate in Kosovo and party organisation, it is not that recognises the functioning of factions within the party so far, and we do not have to expect that this will happen to Vetevendosje”, Mushkolaj praised.

Analyst Muhharrier points out that the very idea to bring the two factions closer is that they divided them and made it impossible to function as a whole.

“The idea of joint functioning would mean a reconciliation for access, for the way it works, for the way it works, which is also the main reason why these two taxes are divided. Much easier it was to agree before these problems occurred than when we have resignations and we have serious disagreement about the way the Vetevendosje Movement is led, Muhaxhir stressed.

From the Vetevendosje Movement, from top leadership positions, have already resigned prominent political personalities, including Chairman Visar Ymer, Deputy Chairman Dardan Sejdiu and other members of this political subject. Officials remaining in the leadership of the Vetevendosje Movement have earlier denied that there are divisions and factions within the Vetevendosje Movement, naming them only as differences.
