A U.S. Army report says Robert E. Jones from Arizona, 21, was part of the US military police.
Robert Jones was an excellent soldier”, Colonel Jeffrey Searl was quoted as saying by military police, reports Voa.
Soldier Jones was part of about 700 US troops serving within KFOR forces in Kosovo. Currently, about 4 thousand and 400 NATO troops serve under the KFOR mission.
About 50,000 NATO troops were deployed in Kosovo in June 1999, ending the nearly two-year war that led to Kosovo's liberation from Serbia.
