Xhemajlaj: The Initiative Is Coming

The initiative for Kosovo has unveiled its governing programme for the citizens of Drenas for the October 22nd local elections, promising better prosperity for its residents, economic development and improved health services throughout the municipality.

The candidate of Drenas' Initiative for Speaker Isa Xhemajlaj said he understands a considerable part of the citizens who are disappointed and who do not appear at the polls, they, according to him, have reason to be indifferent, as their future is in danger, but urged that this now change and do so on October 22nd.

Now the time has come and it is the last time that you with the greatest care, with your care to make a difference and make way for your children's well-being and future. You on October 22nd have the opportunity to vote for your candidate and mayor of the municipality and vote for people who have integrity and who have witnessed”, Xhemajlaj said, the KP reported.

He claimed that citizens have sought out professional and corrupt people who have will and who have been in the service of the country and are willing to serve citizens again.

“Nisma offers the programme and candidacy of professional people and ready to face challenges to a better welfare for all our citizens. The time has come for municipal governance to be, not the ruler of its own citizens, but in the service of citizens”, Xhemajlaj said, promising that it will be in the service of citizens, calling on “we are coming at” and unveiled its governing programme, Kosovas Kos reports.

Meanwhile, National Initiative Council Chairman Jakup Krasniqi said the Social Democrat Initiative is for Drenas and the citizens of Drenas. He stressed that Drina's governance needs necessary changes and that the Initiative is for this change.

“Time for the Initiative is coming, the initiative is coming for the citizens of Drenas and not for the authorities. This should be clear to all the citizens of Drenas, and I am convinced that the citizens of Drenas will this time give up confidence to the Initiative for Kosovo, the number 31 and the future chairman of Drenas, Isa Xhemajli, to give confidence to candidates and candidates of the Initiative for the Crenasti Assembly”, Krasniqi said.

Initiative for Kosovo Chairman Fatmir Limaj stressed that the seed of change that started a year ago in November, where they worked to give Kosovo an opportunity to Drenas and what they did in November is the time to reap the initiative's victory in Drenas on October 22nd with President Isa Xhemajli.

“The intellectuals of Drenas, citizens, who have given much to the city of Drenas and villages, and this spirit and this hope of uniting people of different profiles, and until yesterday of different party beliefs, adds responsibility to the Initiative for Kosovo, should add responsibility to the branch of the Initiative for Drenas. To see that the Initiative is becoming a subject of hope and opportunity that people where they have no longer had the opportunity to express their beliefs, to unite, to give a chance to the city of Drenas, and that possibility is the Initiative. I thank hundreds of activists, citizens joining the Initiative. I make sure we work hard so they don't feel disappointed”, Limaj said.

Limaj added that they have not entered the race to defeat others, but have come out to win the Initiative, and with this victory nobody loses, but Drenas and Kosovo win after the time for change in Drenas has come.
