That is Thaci's commitment to dialogue with Serbia

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci pledged he would establish a unity team for the final phase of dialogue with Serbia. At the table, titled “The future of Kosovo-Serbia dialogue”, organised by the Kosovo Democratic Institute (KDI), Thaci estimated that at this stage commitment of all political and social acts is needed, the paper today writes Voice.

The president also spoke of the Demarketing and Association Agreement, as well as the establishment of the army, by which he considered that these issues should end as soon as possible.

Speaking of talks with Serbia, President Hashim Thaci indicated that the sweeping group would consist of political classes, civil society and media.

“The Unity Group will consist of the Presidency, Government, Parliament, where all political parties will be represented, but there will also be representatives of civil society, media, academy and anyone who will contribute to this” political process, Thaci noted, Voice/.

He further considered that with such a practice, not only political consensus can be proven, but also expertise in this process.

“At the end of this process we will have a new quality of relations between Kosovo and Serbia, a good neighbourly and co-operation relationship that will contribute to lasting peace and the region's integration into the European Union”, President Hashim Thaci added.

Thaci, in this case, said the closure of the latest phase of the dialogue process will bring about a total of three winners, including Kosovo, Serbia and the international community.

In contrast, it stated that normalising reports between Kosovo and Serbia, resulting in achieving peace between the two states, also ensures peace in the western part of the Balkan Peninsula.

“Peace between Kosovo and Serbia implies peace for the Western Balkans”, the president underlined during his speech, writes Voice.

Meanwhile, he vowed that all at the end of this process would have a completely new quality of reports with Serbia.

Furthermore, the country's president said such a spirit of dialogue must be built, which will close the war chapter and resume a new chapter.

In addition to the dialogue process, which was the central topic at this table, Thaci also spoke of the Demarketing and Association Agreement, with which he said these agreements should be finalised as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, it did not fail to mention the army issue, which it estimated institutions should complete all preparations for completing the KSF's transformation into the Kosovo Armed Forces (FAK).
