Thaci says Kosovo's EU integration process must be accelerated

The head of state, accompanied by the first Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli, met with European Council President Donald Tusk.
Thaci discussed with President Tusk about Kosovo's European journey and thanked him for the support given in this direction.
He has said Kosovo remains committed to its European future.
“We have made significant steps in our journey towards the large European family. The process of Kosovo's integration into the European Union must be accelerated with concrete actions. It is vital for our state and the entire region for the EU to remain engaged in the Western Balkans”, Thaci has said during the meeting.
At the invitation of President of the United States Donald Trump, and First Lady Melanie Trump, in the Magnaries of the Assembly, President Thaci and the First Lady of Kosovo, Lumniye Thaci will be hosted tonight by the Presidential couple Trump.
