Kosovo's Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has said it has made all preparations for the good start of the new school year. Meanwhile, there are about 28,000 students who would be sitting at school banks for the first time.
Meanwhile, the United Education Union has expressed its concern over the failure to implement some points of the new collective contract on the part of municipal education directors. The union's chairman, Nundman Jasharaj, said that in September there could be union action.
This school year textbooks will be distributed for free only the level from first to fifth grade, while from sixth to ninth grade will receive used textbooks.
