This is the scenario for ratification of demarcation with Montenegro

But the Kosovo government says it is awaiting scientific findings from the new Commission for Demarketing. Halil Matoshi, who is part of Haradinaj's cabinet, has announced for Express that only after that will it be decided for further steps.

Kosovo's government has all for the demarcation of the border line with Montenegro and has handed over to the new Commission for Marketing, which leads Bulliqi. Ramush Haradinaj is expected to make the decision only after the Commission's scientific findings are sent.

That is the response of Government Official Halil Matosi, who has not commented on Deputy Prime Minister Enver Hoxhaj's statements that the demarcation of the border line with Montenegro will be issued for ratification in March of next year.

Matoshi has not responded if the scenario mentioned by Hoxhaj that demarcation is voted in the spring.

The problem of demarcation has remained open since Kosovo has failed to ratify the version signed by Foreign Affairs Minister Hashim Thaci with Montenegrin officials. Montenegrins, meanwhile, have ratified the version opposing Ramush Haradinaj while in the opposition.

However, another official of The PDK, Enver Hoxhaj, has said that during January or February the demarcation in Parliament will be released for discussion. Then, the chances for approval, he has said they are in March.

On the other hand, the Government of Montenegro, days ago, had confirmed to Gazette Express that the agreement on demarcation for them is a done deal. They had said they were open for talks with the Kosovar side, but that they have already ratified the sign of the border in Parliament.

Even US Vice President Mike Pence, at the meeting with the president of Kosovo last weekend, called for ratification of the agreement with Montenegro.

But Ramush Haradinaj insists that the current version of demarcation is wrong and with it loses over 8 thousand hectares of land. Immediately after assuming the executive leadership, Haradinaj pledged to find the solution for demarcation, as one of the issues Kosovo faces for two years now. Until he vowed that the visas would not be delayed either.

Because of a lack of demarcation, Kosovars are remaining unable to move visa-free to the EU Schengen Zone. Europeans have conditioned visa liberalisation with border demarcation with Montenegrins and fighting corruption.
