As many of us consider becoming more conservative with energy to save on their bills, there are those who do not know where to start for that purpose.
An Australian budget expert, Michelle Thompson-Laing, says she's saved all year 5400 dollars from energy bills. The mother of three children says that everything must be started from the lamps used for lighting.
Hallogen lights use 75-80 percent more energy than LED.
Since her home had enough light, the first thing she did when she entered the house was change of lamps, which she probably cost a lot when she bought them but was worth it by looking at her energy bill.
It also advises that people always turn off lights, computers, TVs and heaters when leaving the room. They even have to cut the cost of heating or cooling and repair the air conditioner by the time.
The optimum temperature in summer is 23 degrees Celsius and 18 degrees Celsius in winter.
Thompson-Laing further says that 20 %s of energy can only be saved by ensuring change in kitchen equipment, focusing on those with less energy spent.
As far as refrigerators and freezings are concerned, she says that people should be sure they don't use more energy than necessary and avoid their frequent opening and closing.
This should also be taught to children to decide what they want to receive and not be shocked at the open door of the refrigerator.
