At the Vetevendosje rally in Gjilan, mayoral candidate Sami Kurteshi said he feels honoured for the challenging task he has taken to give Gjilan back dignity.
He has begun his word with an example from history, to show the importance of social-political commitment to freedom, equality and democracy, adding that power has realised that change is coming, which is scaring him.
“People do not expect from our governance to solve all the problems created for decades, especially those now occupied by the two parties, and ignorant powers, extortioners and frauds, which have not only crippled Anamorhava with enclaveal and partitioning decentralisation, but have also misgoverned with Kosovo, with a raise of hands, and with a constant seating of head”, Kurteshi said at the rally in Gjilan.
“We're the best, we're the first on the election list, we're Gjilan's bright 10th, the force that turns dignity and pride, which turns light into Gjilan. We will jointly guarantee this”, he added, citing VV candidates aimed at mandates at the municipality Assembly of Gjilan.
Kurteshi vowed that by his rule, he will return the citizen's incorrigibly dignified dignity from multi-year-old wrongdoing, by empowering his role in public decision making. He promised to double the number of kindergartens and pre-school institutions, free shots for students/low classes from I-V, regular medical and dentistry services in schools, with prevention and child awareness, cabinets and school labs, we will equip schools with libraries and reading angles, and we will support teachers for continued professional promotions, as well as investments in health, agriculture and culture. It has unveiled other priorities, such as accountability transparency, effective administration engagement and employment equality,
“From us, we are really expected to rule with Gjilan, but each of you agrees that our eyes should keep on the horizon Albanians expelled from their lands and that have made room here in our municipality”, Kurteshi said at the end, asking the gentians to vote in October 22nd elections.
