Locals have looked at it with amazement as these perfect eggs take shape on some rocks and then fall to the ground, the Sun” reported, broadcast Periscopi.
The geologists may now have solved this mystery and named it the Mandarin Chan D Ya, which is translated as the <x0-secondth of egg production”.

They found that while tests showed that the rock formed 500 million years ago during the Cambrian era, the specific part of the Gandeng Mountain was made from limestone rock that is common in many regions on earth.

Experts say the change in time seen for any kind of rock and that is close to destruction has led to the showing of eggs, which constitute heavy nursing deposits.

Many villagers have taken the rocks home believing they bring luck and wealth.
The country is located in the Qiannan Buyeyi region and Miao in the southwestern province of Guizhou, China.

In 2009, local tourism director Yang Schengen encouraged members of the public to visit “Chan Dan Ya”, saying tourists would be “habiated” to see the mountain producing eggs./Periscopi/
