A 13-year-old girl who lost her life in a brain disease has broken the record, saving eight people with organ donation.
Jemma Layselli died in 2012 and gave her heart, pancreases, lungs, kidneys, small intestines, and liver.
Her parents said she was very smart and loving so she'd be proud of it.
According to the BBC, no other donor has helped so many people. The jemma felt bad while making preparations for her mother's birthday party and died after four days at the Mother's Hospital of Children in Bristol.
The heart, the small intestine, and the pancreas helped three people, while the kidneys took two more.
The liver was divided into two parts for two people and the lungs were transplanted into a patient. Five of them were children.
In normal cases, 2-6 organs are donated, but this case was completely unique.
