Unlike the wives of previous politicians and state leaders, Anita Haradinaj is the first woman of a Kosovo state representative to visit and care about women victims during the war, Birnifo reports.
She has today met with representatives of NGOs dealing with survivors of sexual violence.
Haradinaj has heard and discussed with them the situation these women face.
She has expressed herself as a citizen of this country, as a woman, as a mother, associated with the suffering and pain of the victims.
Anita Haradinaj has encouraged women to present themselves to NGOs, and the relevant commission to meet with the professions that by law belong to you.
