Thaci, informed the Holy Father, Pope Francis, of both the establishment of the Commission for Truth and Conciliance. “The goal is to close the conflict chapter and open the co-operation chapter”, the country's first claim.
He has further said that we are developing dialogue with Serbia, in building good neighbourly relations, normalising relations and mutual recognition.
So we are working to promote, in Kosovo, in the region and in the world, values, such as peace, dialogue, co-operation, tolerance, co-existence. This is today's Kosovo, although many still remember past Kosovo war and destruction”, he has said.
