The United States will not pay Pakistan 255 million dollars' military assistance until Pakistan destroys, as President Donald Trump said, “The secure shale” of militant groups.
US State Department officials said the funds would not be distributed until the US sees Pakistan taking steps against Afghan Taliban and other groups, such as the Hakan network.
Pakistan denies sheltering terrorists and says the US is exploiting Islamabad as “veneering” for its failed war in Afghanistan.
Presenting the new strategy for Afghanistan last week, Trump said the US paid Pakistan billions of dollars, while “Pakistan has sheltered terrorists”.
This must change”, Trump said.
