October 22nd may surprise, changes expected

Whether changes are expected in local elections by national ones are expected, analysts on political issues in the country have spoken.

In a pronomation for “Ineksonline”, Ernest Luma has said that although local elections differ from national, there may be a surprise on October 22nd.

I think there may be a surprise, but even local elections may result otherwise, there may be another trend from national elections. It is important the candidate, but primarily important is how political parties are located in their mayoral candidates. The best candidates will win and citizens will vote for candidates and not for subjects in the first place”, he said.

The convinced that October 22nd will bring about changes, is analyst Bajrush Morina, under whom this will happen because of the citizens' awareness that almost all political parties have nothing to offer.

The choices only make sense when they produce changes. Even the June 11th elections, however, did not revolt with victory, they brought about changes. Even in the October 22nd elections, I expect changes. This will happen because citizens have already become more aware and that political parties, almost all, have been spent ... no longer have what they can give and what they promise the most”, he said.

Morina has declared that although the process of change moves slowly in Kosovo, the important thing is that, as he put it, the “fall down on the big ones, and the little ones get up!”.

Coalition PAN was ranked first in the June 11th national elections. While the Vetevendosje Movement has had the greatest growth by doubling the number of MPs.
