The multiparty coalition faces a powerful opposition

The new political agreement on forming institutions, signed by the leaders of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, the Initiative for Kosovo and the New Kosovo Alliance, by political analysts is being seen with scepticism. Especially, it is questioned whether this grouping of political parties will produce a Government [...]
Analyst Imer Mushkolaj says nominated for prime minister by coalition PAN, Ramush Haradinaj, will not find it easy to create stable government and manage it easily.
The “is a difficult coalition managed by the prime minister, if Haradinaj is to be elected, because apart from the challenges they expect, it is extremely difficult to accommodate the interests of all political parties in this coalition. I believe it will be difficult to manage”, Mushkolaj said.
According to Mushkolaj, such a coalition will not be easy to pass even some laws and push ahead with important issues. In the Assembly, he underlines, there will be another powerful opposition.
“We are dealing with an extremely strong opposition consisting of the Democratic League of Kosovo and the Vetevendosje Movement. I believe additional problems will be caused. So, I consider Haradinaj as prime minister or coalition The PAN, with the signing and agreement, have won a Pirros victory, but this will not be a victory that will also dereminate success”, Mushkolaj said.
Even Albert Krasniqi, analyst from the Kosovo Democratic Institute, speaking of Radio Free Europe, said the upcoming Kosovo government cannot be expected to be stable, taking into account the large number of political parties that are part of the ruling coalition.
“We are dealing with a coalition of about 20 political subjects, which made a very fragmented government, each of which will have requirements that should be accommodated by the largest coalition partners. This makes a coalition very fragile and with an opposition that is even stronger in number, but also in terms of quality”, Krasniqi said.
Coalition Leaders PAN, the coalition consisting of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo and the Initiative for Kosovo, Kadri Veselini, Ramush Haradinaj and Fatmir Limaj, a day earlier signed with New Kosovo Alliance leader Behgjet Pacolli, the agreement on establishing new institutions. Named for prime minister by coalition PAN, Ramush Haradinaj, leader of the AAK, has said the agreement allows Kosovo the necessary launch, for facing the challenges ahead.
Krasniqi stresses that despite party coalitions and the interests of political parties, important issues should not be delayed and prosecuted in the Kosovo Assembly.
If those anger policies and important issues that would be present for most citizens can be blocked, consider the role and resentment that have been on the political scene”, Krasniqi said.
This week has again been warned that it will be crucial to close the constitutional session, which has started on August 3rd, but even after the six continuation it did not conclude with the election of the president of this institution due to lack of votes from the PAN coalition.
Based on the outcome of the elections and the Constitutional Court's decision of 2014, this coalition has the right to propose the Parliament's chairman.
Coalition with AKR, coalition expected The PAN will now finally begin the procedure of electing the Speaker of the Assembly and then the election of the new Kosovo government.
