Entrepreneurs who were elected MPs in the recent parliamentary elections are already quitting their businesses, or are becoming passively owned by their quotas, as under the conflict of interest law they cannot be active in private activities.

Volnet Sinaj, Ilir Ndaj, Agron Shehiaj are three major entrepreneurs who will be deputies for the next four years, while other names such as Flamur Shehu (Vol textile industry), Fuad Hadziymer (processing industry), or Agron Duka, though they were not on the list to secure a seat in the Parliament.

Volnet Sinay, the designer of one of the biggest supermarket networks in the country, the Big Market, throughout its supermarket network has gone to passive quota owners, and Mrs. Elona Kostunica (Budini) is an active owner of quotas, according to statements at the National Business Centre.
