According to him, Montenegro's leadership has seen reality and had to be honest with friends in Belgrade, that is, to accept Kosovo's independence.
“We believe we must face the unpleasant inevitable. In Serbia's head, they had understanding and capacity to understand that view. They knew that Montenegro's move was not antiserb, but they wanted our policy to be based on reality, whether we like it or not. We also wanted to provide an example of the resolution of open issues in the region”, he added.
