(9 years ago)Kosovo Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli has declared that ratification of the Agreement with Demarketation was impossible at this time because of the forces' relations in the Kosovo Parliament. <x)
“We are aware that the agreement was signed, but please understand and have patience”, he said during his meeting with counterpart Srdjan Darnovoic.
According to him, Kosovo is ready to sign strategic agreements with Montenegro and hold joint sessions of the two countries' governments.
On the other hand, Darmanovic said he expects Kosovo institutions to ratify the demarcation agreement.
“We have a understanding of the processes in Kosovo and we expect the agreement to be ratified,” he said, stating that for Montenegro it has concluded the demarcation issue.
Also, the Montenegrin top diplomat expects recognition of the Montenegrin minority in Kosovo to take place.
