Minister goes against Prime Minister Haradinaj, thinks Hashim Thaci has done the right thing with demarcation

Not all within the Haradinaj government think alike about the demarcation agreement with Montenegro.

Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri has the opposite stance.

He believes in the truthfulness of the agreement signed by his former chief, President Hashim Thaci.

The signing agreement, then Kosovo Foreign Minister Hashim Thaci, is a clear agreement. I think it's a fair deal and I continue to believe that the prime minister will be able to find a solution for this matter to be completed as soon as we can, Tahiri said.

According to him, Prime Minister Haradinaj has taken urgent action for the commission of this agreement, as more legal offices are supposed to be consulted.

Tahiri fears procrastination of this issue could affect breaking up reports with Montenegro.

“Being a very long time part of Kosovo institutions knows very well Montenegro's role in relation to the Republic of Kosovo. It's one of our neighbors and allies that has strongly supported us on any membership and wherever we need it to, Tahiri has said.

Tahiri has said that Montenegro, despite reports with Serbia, has decided to stand by Kosovo, and that has not been easy for them.

My concern was not to hurt the reports with Montenegro”, he concluded.
