Minister of Education, Science and Technology Arsim Bajrami has handed over the post to the new minister, Shyceri Bytyqi.
Bajrami hopes that the new government will prioritise education in Kosovo.
He said that in these three years there have been large investments and achievements in the field of education, but acknowledged that the education situation is not satisfactory.

Bajrami announced his successor that he has established partnership with many universities from America.
He ordered that much work be done in the quality of education, citing the results of the Pisa test.
“Today when he was giving up his mandate I am acknowledging that the quality of education is low, but for these three years we prevented the collapse of education”, Bajrami said.
The new minister, Bytyqi, said it is an extraordinary honour to accept such an important task.

We are aware of the situation in education, but I am aware that there have been results in your mandate, but there are also a lot of problems. We will continue to work so that education can take a good and proper path”, he said.
The priorities according to him would be to respect legislation at every level, as well as to raise the quality of education. He said they expect to get to the best rank in Pisa.
