The first Exit Poles show that the CDU Alliance/ Chancellor Angela Merkel's CSU has won the majority in federal elections, receiving 32.7% of the vote.

According to Exit Poles, Martin Schulz holds second place with 20.2% of the vote.

With this result Chancellor Angela Merkel receives a blow, but is set for a fourth term.
