The sacrificial boat, which is determined according to the lunar calendar (Hijri), begins on the tenth day of the month of Dhulhige and lasts four days. The Way of Cutting Up the Sacrifice

It should be noted that the flesh and the skin of the offering are not allowed to be sold. The skin may be given a charity, can be used as a seat at home, or can be sold only if its money is given as a charity.

Also, fasting of any kind is not permitted on this holiday. In this regard the prophet (a.S.), sent a person to announce: "Do not fast these days, because it is days in which you eat, drink, and rejoice with the family” (Taberani).
