The First Lady of State, at the invitation of President and founder of the global platform “Fashion 4 Development”, Evie Evangelow, has participated in the 7th annual First Lady Official's Lunch. During this event, as indicated in a statement by the Presidency, Kosovo's First Lady has met with counterparts from Montenegro, Turkey, Bulgaria, Mauritania, Tuvalu, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan and so on.
“Plaforma “Fasion 4 Development” was established in January 2011 in support of the United Nations Development Milenium and global movement “Every woman, every child” whose move led former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
The goal of “Fashion 4 Development” is to promote positive social changes and exploit the power of the fashion industry and beauty by implementing creative strategies for sustainable economic growth and community independence worldwide, through the expression of fashion”, the president's office is said to be reporting.
At a ceremony organised by this platform, prices have been shared with women who have contributed to the areas mentioned above. Among the decorations are the world's famous superhero and founder of “Fashion 4 Relief”, Naomi Campbell, French model and actress Farida Khelfa, etc.
