A Palestinian has opened fire towards Israeli paramilitaries, killing three people and wounding another one, police have said.

Police spokeswoman Luba Samri has said the attacker was 37-year-old palezthenes who had an attack on the entrance to the West Bank's back door, hiding among the Palestinian workers.

When he was ordered to stop, the person pulled out the gun and opened fire, Samri said.

The attacker, who had a job permit in Israel, was killed by police forces.

Hospital services have also said that medical treatment has taken on a critical person.

The incident has taken place in northwest Jerusalem, the area where violence has healed in recent months.
